Rick is a director, choreographer, and producer working across theater, immersive, and film & TV at Kuperman Brothers.
Recent highlights include co-directing and choreographing Life & Trust for Emursive of Sleep No More and choreographing the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of The Outsiders produced by The Araca Group and Angelina Jolie (Tony, Drama Desk, OCC, and Chita Rivera nominations for Best Choreography).
Select film & TV credits include Dicks: The Musical for A24 & Chernin Entertainment starring Nathan Lane and Megan Thee Stallion, Caught Stealing for Protozoa, Silent Retreat for Miramax, and “Living with Yourself” for Netflix.
Select theater & concert credits include Alice by Heart (Lortel, Chita Rivera, and Callaway Awards for Outstanding Choreography; Drama Desk nomination), Cyrano (with Peter Dinklage and with music by The National), and Phish at Madison Square Garden.
Rick is a cum laude graduate of Harvard, where he studied moral psychology, film theory, directing & choreography, and negotiation & decision-making.
